Listening : In the Listening section, you will be asked to demonstrate how well you understand spoken English.

The entire Listening test will last approximately 45 minutes and is composed of 100 questions. There are four parts, and directions are given orally for each part.

WARNING: On exam day, you will have to mark your answers on the separate answer sheet. Do not write your answers in your test book.

Content:

Part 1 - Photographs: 6 photographs, 6 questions

Part 2 - Questions & Answers, 25 questions

Part 3 - Conversations: 13 conversations, 39 questions

Part 4 - Talks: 10 talks, 30 questions

Note: The main strategy to gain points in the Listening section of the TOEIC is to use all the information given in the test book. Thus you can anticipate what you will hear and concentrate on the key points of the recordings. This will enable you to find the right answers. This strategy can be used for Parts 1, 3, and 4. It is impossible to anticipate for Part 2 as neither the questions nor the possible responses are written. They are only said orally.
